Jody May

Jody May is a Research Associate Professor at Vanderbilt University since August 2009, previously serving as a Research Assistant Professor in the same department. Significant contributions include the development of a multi-channel mass spectrometer and a cryogenic ion mobility spectrometer for high throughput and resolution measurements, alongside mentoring graduate and undergraduate students and fostering collaborative projects. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate role where Jody May launched an instrumentation development program focused on advanced analytical spectrometers, and a Research Assistant position at Texas A&M University, where design and construction of a cryogenic temperature ion mobility-mass spectrometer were achieved. Jody May holds a Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Central Arkansas.
