Rahul Nair

Rahul Nair is a skilled researcher specializing in structural biology, currently working as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Vanderbilt University since May 2021. Previously, Rahul held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the Rudolf Virchow Center of the University of Würzburg for a brief period in 2021, and completed a PhD at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg from July 2017 to January 2021, focusing on the structural features related to ubiquitin linkage specificity in HUWE1 HECT ubiquitin ligase using various advanced techniques. Prior to these roles, Rahul contributed as a Project Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, where research involved characterizing proton-driven antiporters from Staphylococcus Aureus through X-ray crystallography, and began a scientific career as a trainee at the National Centre for Biological Sciences.
