James Budde has over 15 years of experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration since January 2015, focusing on dismantling multi-layered poly-drug trafficking organizations. In addition, Budde has held various roles within the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office since July 2007, including Crisis/Hostage Negotiator, Narcotics Detective, and Motor Patrol Deputy Sheriff. Earlier in the career, Budde worked as a Confinement Officer at the Vanderburgh County Confinement Center and Work Release Facility. The education was completed at the University of Southern Indiana.
