Alex van der Steen

Alex van der Steen is an experienced program manager specializing in leadership development, currently serving in this capacity at Vanderlande since April 2025. Prior roles include Lead People Development at Heerema Marine Contractors and leadership development positions at C&A. As the founder and owner of an independent consulting firm, Alex advised companies on maximizing human potential from August 2018 to August 2022. Previous experience also encompasses sales enablement and training in various organizations, including a significant tenure at Forrester Research as Director of Global Sales Enablement and Sales Training, and managerial roles at Booking.com and Salesforce. Alex holds degrees in International Bachelor in European Studies and English from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a Bachelor’s in English and Dutch from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
