Myra Johnson Powell has extensive work experience in the field of social services. Myra Johnson started their career in 1974 at the Wilson County Department of Social Services, where they held various roles including Assistant Director, Division Chief, Manager, Supervisor, and Social Worker until 1994. Myra Johnson then worked as a Clinical Instructor at the School of Social Work at ECU/UNC-CH from 1994 to 1999. In 1999, they became the CEO of Vanguard Professional Staffing.
