Since opening the Wine Country office in 2004, Richard Lester, along with his husband John Genovese, has consistently commanded sales at the Russian River as well as becoming a leader in the San Francisco Real Estate market. Renowned as strategic marketers and top level negotiators, these two are recognized as an unmatched power team, dedicated to a 5-star client experience.
Richard and John both grew up around the Great Lakes and met in California more than 20 years ago. From that beginning they have successfully worked side by side to develop small businesses including a variety of Real Estate ventures. From running a small-town coffee house and commercial property to owning multi unit buildings in San Francisco, their intimate knowledge of California Real Estate brings a direct benefit to each of their clients.
Together, they bring an easy real life vibe to the Real Estate round table. John's more quiet talents shine in the curation of the sales experience: designed to achieve the best possible price and terms. Richard is the trusted communicator: always steady, always listening and there to provide a grounded perspective that is focused on the individual's best interest and ultimate end goal.
Richard and John firmly believe that their #1 role is the pursuit and negotiation of the very best possible price for their clients. Their triangular approach to consulting has proven to create a more dynamic experience that enhances the final outcome. Their clients in San Francisco and Wine Country return, over and over, because they love the results.
Having dual residences in San Francisco and Sonoma County since the 1990's, John and Richard have enjoyed the many lifestyle benefits of City-Country living. They believe that for themselves, and for their clients, the two distinctly different environments provide a more synergistic and vibrant life experience.
When they can, John and Richard love to jump in their '89 Westfalia pop-top camper and boldly go wherever the side roads lead. They love to discover small towns, pop-up festivals and local art.
