Ashwani Kumar, P.Eng, currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Vanguard Renewables since July 2023. Prior to this role, Ashwani held various senior positions at Anaergia from June 2016 to July 2023, including Sr. Vice President of Global Plant Operations and Managing Director for Canada and the North East USA. Ashwani's extensive experience includes directing engineering teams, managing financial and operational aspects, and implementing technical solutions in previous roles at Harvest Power, Inc. and Anaergia Inc. Ashwani’s career also features significant contributions at OVIVO GWE, StormFisher Biogas, Forterra Inc., CSRplus Vermicast Industries, and Jubilant Organosys Limited, focusing on process development, safety management, and production efficiency. Ashwani holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Gulbarga University, an MBA in Industrial Relations and HR Management, and certification in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School Online.
