Fran Kinniry, CFA, is a principal and the head of the Vanguard Investment Advisory Research Center. Starting at Vanguard in 1997, Fran developed and launched the fiduciary advice business and initiated key divisions such as the Investment Counseling and Research group and the Investment Strategy Group. Fran has authored numerous publications on investment topics and has been quoted extensively in major financial media. They also contribute to the development of Vanguard's investment research and portfolio construction strategies, and have played a significant role in launching Vanguard's Private Equity initiative in 2020. Fran is currently pursuing degrees in Finance and Economics, as well as an MBA from Drexel University.
