George Gilbert

George Gilbert is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in regulatory affairs and policy. Currently serving as the Head of US Regulatory Affairs and Policy Enablement at Vanguard since October 2019, George previously held the position of Assistant General Counsel at the Investment Company Institute from October 2015 to October 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an Attorney at the US Securities and Exchange Commission, an Associate at both Skadden Arps and Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and a Legal Intern at Blackboard Inc. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor’s degree from Duke University.
