Samy Movassaghi

Samy Movassaghi, PhD, is a distinguished principal AI scientist and technical lead at Vanguard, where Samy leads a team focused on optimizing data-driven decisions for clients since June 2020. Previous experience includes a mentorship role at deeplearning.ai and a research fellowship at Google, where Samy contributed to significant advancements in image classification and deep learning algorithms. Additionally, Samy has served as a technical advisor for multiple companies, an academic tutor at various universities, and has held roles that combine expertise in engineering and computer science. Samy holds an Executive Business Leadership degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a PhD in Computer Science from The Australian National University, and a Master's in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney, complemented by a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
