Masood Mesbah

Masood Mesbah, PhD, PE, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in construction management and engineering. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Vanir Construction Management, Inc., since November 2018, Masood provides senior leadership to optimize operations and financial performance. Previously, Masood held roles as Vice President and Area Manager, as well as Vice President and Director of Operations, focusing on project operations and business development across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and transportation. Masood also spent time at AECOM overseeing operational efficiency for the Pacific Region Water Business Line and at Parsons Corporation managing significant infrastructure projects. Earlier in the career, Masood served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for the State of California's Department of Water Resources and Department of General Services. Masood holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, along with BSME and MSME degrees from California State University-Sacramento.
