Wilford Gibson

Wilford Gibson is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon with a career spanning several decades. Since 1994, Wilford has worked at Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists, while also serving as Chair of the Division of Orthopaedics at Eastern Virginia Medical School from September 1994 to July 2001. Prior experience includes a role as an AO Fellow at AO Foundation, focusing on pelvis and acetabulum, and providing orthopaedic trauma care in the US Navy from 1988 to 1994. Wilford completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Florida Orthopaedic Institute and served as a medical officer aboard USS Nassau. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Richmond.
