Jim Young

Jim Young has a long and varied work experience. Jim began their career in 2013 with the United States Army Reserve as a Military Intelligence Officer. In 2014, they were deployed full-time to Afghanistan as a HARC Analyst with the US Army. That same year, they were also a Chad and Niger All-Source Analyst Team Leader with the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM). In 2015, they worked as an Intelligence Analyst at the Defense Intelligence Agency. In 2016, they moved to the Office of Naval Intelligence as an Intelligence Analyst. In 2017, they were an Assistant Operations Officer at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command. From 2018 to 2022, they were an Executive Officer at USSOCOM, specializing in Open Source Intelligence and Publicly Available Information. Jim is currently a Deployment Lead at Vannevar Labs.

Jim Young attended McDaniel College from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Environmental Policy.
