Stephen F. George

Stephen F. George has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and development. Stephen F. began their career in 2001 as a Web Developer for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Capital Chapter, where they gained experience with SQL Server administration, database design, stored procedures and query optimization. Stephen F. then worked as a Web Developer for jonesmusic.com and Social Travel in 2002, and as a Self-employed Web Developer in 2002. From 2007 to 2011, Stephen worked at DialogTech, first as a Voice Architect, then as a Technical Lead, and finally as a Software Engineering Manager. In 2020, they were a Software Engineering Manager at Kenna Security until it was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2021, where they were a Leader in the Software Engineering Security Business Group until 2022. Currently, Stephen is an Engineering Manager at Vannevar Labs.

Stephen F. George has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, which they obtained between 2003 and 2005. Stephen F. has also obtained four certifications: Cisco Certified Interviewer Specialist from Cisco in October 2021, Managers Training from the Illinois Technology Association (ITA) in June 2018, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance in March 2022, and Crucial Conversations Training from Crucial Learning in March 2018.
