Senior Scientist III at Vanqua Bio

Carole Deyts has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Carole began their career in 2002 as an Engineer at Oncodesign Biotechnology. In 2005, they became a Post Doctoral Scholar at the University Pierre and Marie Curie, CNRS. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at the University of Chicago as a Research Associate and Assistant Professor. During this time, they led research projects, developed innovative assays, and obtained funding for research. In 2017, they moved to the Gene Therapy Program as a Senior Research Investigator, Gene Therapy. In 2018, they joined Spark Therapeutics, Inc., Roche Group as a CNS Senior Research Scientist. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Senior Scientist III at Vanqua Bio.

Carole Deyts obtained their Baccalaureate (A-levels) in Sciences from High School Victor Duruy, Mont de Marsan in 1995. Carole then went on to obtain two Master's degrees from the University of Bordeaux in Physiology from 1996-1999. Following this, Carole Deyts earned their Master's degree in Biology from the University Pierre and Marie Curie in 2000-2001. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Paris XI (Paris, France), Institut of Neurobiology, Gif sur Yvette in 2002-2005.
