Haneen Ammouri has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. In 2020, they became the Lab Manager at Vanqua Bio. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Research Technician III at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine & The Simpson Querrey Institute, where they were responsible for complete implementation of ChIP-seq in the lab and understanding how CTCF and cohesin affect BRD4-NUT-dependent chromatin folding using CRISPR/Cas9 /ssDNA technology and homology directed repair. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Research Technologist at The University of Chicago, where they were part of the ModENCODE project at IGSB and conducted ChIP-seq experiments on Drosophila melanogaster transgenic lines to understand the role of transcription factors in regulation and development. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at Lund University, where they took part in studying the use of Zebrafish as a model for chronic deficits to establish MK801 as a hyperactivity model in zebrafish larvae and participated in a project which analyzed the usage of zebrafish as a model to test passage of drugs via the brain blood barrier. From 2011 to 2010, they worked as an Engagement Content Manager at iHorizons, where they were responsible for overseeing all content creation activities for clients' websites, delegating responsibilities and supervising operations, hiring, training, motivating and coaching employees on their team, and assessing employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities. In 2010, they worked as an English Teacher- ESL at Irth Academy and as a Translator at Yasmin Office, where they translated different texts including financial, legal and court documents, company documents, booklets, reports and scientific papers.
