David Eckstein

David Eckstein is the Chief Financial Officer of Vanta, leading finance and accounting. With nearly a decade of security experience, David most recently served as CFO of Menlo Security, Inc., overseeing finance, accounting, human resources, recruiting, and legal. During his tenure, he raised over $200 million across three rounds of financing and helped the company expand to over 10 countries. Prior to Menlo Security, David was the Head of Finance for Cisco Cloud Security, via its acquisition of OpenDNS. David began his career as a technology, media and telecommunications banker at Barclays in New York and has a BSBA from Washington University and MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics.
