Tuuli Kotisaari

Tuuli Kotisaari is currently a Projektitutkija at the University of Eastern Finland, involved in the VALITSIJA project focusing on social work decision-making and supervision in child welfare services. Since January 2023, Tuuli has served as a Senior Social Worker for the Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialue, with a previous tenure as a Senior Social Worker at the City of Vantaa from September 2012 to January 2023, where responsibilities included managing emergencies within child welfare services. Additional experience includes teaching roles at Helsingin yliopiston Avoin yliopisto and Turun yliopisto in early 2024 and early 2023, respectively, as well as various trainee positions in social services. Tuuli's educational background encompasses a PhD in Social Work at the University of Eastern Finland and multiple degrees in social sciences and theology from various institutions, including the University of Helsinki and the University of Tampere.
