David George

David has worked the Independent Living and Healthcare sector for the last decade across Alberta and British Columbia, directing the support services function of Hospitality encompassing food, housekeeping, and laundry.

Joining Vantage Living in March of 2020 after 10 years with a non-profit provider of healthcare, David became directly responsible for the independent living sites of Lakeside Manor, & Chateau Three Hills. David also directs and oversees the hospitality portfolio for the long-term care and assisted living sites.

David’s career has enabled him to accumulate an in-depth knowledge of hospitality. During that time experiencing great change in the industry “innovation” has always been his mantra. Qualified in Education David has taught Food Hygiene, HACPP, Kitchen Design as well as Health and Safety at the School of Health College in Germany.

Educated in Budget and Finance, David holds Supervisory Management qualifications and recently completed the Food & Nutrition Management course to meet legislative requirements for long-term care in BC, he is now a full member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM) as well as a member of the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association.
