Sonia Hernandez

Sonia Hernandez has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in various leadership roles in the telecommunications industry. Sonia is currently a Member of the Board of Directors and serves on the Sustainability/ESG Committee at INWIT S.p.A. Sonia also holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and ESG executive at Vantage Towers, where they lead the Group Commercial function and drives the company's strategy in sales, marketing, and brand, with a focus on sustainability.

Prior to their current roles, Sonia Hernandez had a successful career at Vodafone, where they held several key positions, including CEO of Vodafone Malta, Member of the Board of Directors at Vodafone Germany GmbH, and Group Supply Chain Management Director Commercial & Services at Vodafone Procurement Company Sarl. Sonia was responsible for overseeing various aspects of the business, including sales, supply chain management, and procurement.

Before joining Vodafone, Sonia Hernandez gained significant experience in the telecommunications industry while working at Nokia Siemens Networks and Nokia Networks, where they held leadership positions in human resources and strategy and worked with global accounts like Telefonica.

Early in their career, Sonia Hernandez worked at Siemens, where they held sales and account management roles, including managing global accounts such as Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) and Telefonica International. Sonia also worked on sales projects in Latin America.
