Matt Weber

Matt Weber has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and assurance. Matt started in 2013 as an Information Security Officer at Pima Community College, where they managed the Information Security budget and created IT Security/Compliance plans. In 2016, they joined Tucson Electric Power as a Supervisor in IT Security Operations, where they managed the implementation of various security systems and developed threat hunting and response programs. In 2018, Matt joined Vantage West Credit Union, initially as a Manager in Information Security & Assurance and later promoted to Director. In these roles, they built end-to-end cybersecurity solutions, improved the Information Security posture, and increased engagement across the organization. Matt also supervised and mentored analysts and worked closely with compliance and audit departments. Overall, Matt Weber demonstrated expertise in building and managing information security programs, ensuring compliance, and implementing effective cybersecurity solutions.

Matt Weber has a Graduate Certificate in Managing Social and Human Capital from The Wharton School. Matt also holds a Master's degree from the University of Arizona, as well as a Bachelor's degree from the same institution. In addition, they have a certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2 Phoenix Chapter.
