Stefan Harris

Stefan Harris has extensive work experience in the technology field. Stefan began their career as a Fire Controlman in the United States Navy, where they operated and maintained weapon systems. Following their military service, Harris worked as a Computer Technician at Computers Etc., where they provided technical support and repaired computer systems. Stefan then joined Vantage West Credit Union, starting as a Technical Support specialist before progressing to roles such as Network Manager, AVP of Network Technology, and eventually VP of Information Technology. In these leadership positions, Harris oversaw various aspects of IT strategy, development, implementation, and security, and managed teams to ensure efficient operations.

Stefan Harris has an extensive education history spanning several years and domains. In 1987, they completed their high school education at Santa Rita High School. After high school, they enlisted in the US Navy and received specialized training as a Fire Controlman. From 1991 to 1993, they attended the US Navy - Fire Controlman - "A" School, where they obtained a degree in Electronics Engineering. During their time in the Navy, Stefan also completed additional training programs, including the US Navy - Fire Controlman - "C" School - Terrier Missile Systems in 1993 and the US Navy - Fire Controlman - "C" School - Aegis Combat System in 1995. These programs focused on electronics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Following their military service, Stefan pursued higher education at Pima Community College from 2011 to 2013, where they studied Business. In 2008, they attended the Western CUNA Management School, gaining further knowledge in an unknown field of study. In 2014, Stefan obtained the Certified Technical Guideline #3 Auditor (CTGA) credential from eSmartSolutions, specializing in CTGA and TR39 Pin Security and Key Management.

In 2016, Stefan undertook the Business Leadership Competencies Program at the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management, focusing on Leadership Development. Additionally, they earned the Chief Information Security Officer Certification (C|CISO) from EC-Council in the same year.

Continuing their educational journey, Stefan pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Information Technology at Northern Arizona University from 2017 to 2018. Stefan expanded their knowledge in the field of Computer Information Technology during this time.

Aside from formal education, Stefan has also acquired several additional certifications. Stefan completed the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) program through Scrum Alliance in 2019 and gained certification as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco in 2002. Stefan also possesses certifications in Agile Testing, Blockchain Basics, Critical Thinking, Effective Listening, Learning ITIL®, and Strategic Thinking, which were obtained from LinkedIn in 2021. Furthermore, they acquired the Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself certification from LinkedIn in 2019 and the Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) credential from EC-Council in 2007.
