Alex Goncearenco

Alexander Goncearenco is a seasoned expert in computational biology with extensive experience in machine learning-driven drug discovery, protein interactions and engineering, and cancer genomics. Currently serving as Head of Computational Biology at VantAI. Alexander has previously held research roles at the National Human Genome Research Institute and the National Center for Biotechnology Information. Alexander's academic foundation includes a PhD in Computational Biology and master’s degrees in Bioinformatics as well as Computer Science, with additional experience in teaching applied machine learning.
