Catalina Hernández has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Catalina started their career as a Monitor at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where they assisted with teaching statistics and mathematics courses. Catalina then worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Market Team S.A, where they conducted market research and performed statistical analysis for clients in the food and services sector. Catalina also served as a Business Intelligence Analyst at DDB Colombia, where they consulted client databases and developed statistical models. Catalina later joined Credivalores as a Financial Risk Professional and Garantías Comunitarias Grupo S.A as a Data Scientist. In these roles, they handled data analysis and risk assessment. Currently, Catalina is employed at Grupo Vanti as a Business Intelligence Analyst. Throughout their career, Catalina has exhibited expertise in data analysis, statistics, and project management.

Catalina Hernández's education history begins with their degree in Ingeniería Administrativa from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. In 2020, they pursued an Especialización en Ingeniería de Software from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, where they studied engineering informatics, software development, and data science. From 2021 to 2024, Catalina is currently pursuing a Carrera Certified Tech Developer - Desarrollador Full Stack con especialización en BackEnd at Digital House, focusing on web application development.

Catalina has also obtained various certifications. In 2018, Catalina completed the "Curso Fundamentos de Ingeniería de Software" from Platzi. In 2019, they completed the "Inteligencia Artificial MINTIC y Platzi" course from Platzi, the "Data Science For All" course from Correlation One, the "Introduction to Data Engineering" course from DataCamp, the "Machine Learning A-Z: Hands-On Python & R In Data Science" course from Udemy, and the "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" and "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" courses from Coursera.

Catalina continued their certifications in 2020 with the completion of the "DATA ANALYST IN PYTHON (full path - 21 courses)" and "DATA SCIENTIST IN PYTHON" courses from Dataquest.io, as well as the "Beca de Inteligencia Artificial MinTIC" program from Platzi. In 2021, they obtained the "Git for beginners" certification from KodeKloud.

Throughout 2022, Catalina obtained the "Arquitectura de soluciones en la nube" certification from Institución Universitaria ITM and the "DIPLOMADO EN ARQUITECTURAS DE SOFTWARE PARA APLICACIONES NATIVAS DE LA NUBE" certification from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. In 2023, they acquired the "Big Data Analytics on Azure" and "DP-203 Exam Preparation: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure" certifications from Cloud Academy. Lastly, in 2022 and 2023, Catalina obtained the "AWS Educate Getting Started with Compute" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and the "OpenHack: Modern Data Warehousing" certification from Microsoft OpenHack, respectively.
