Sean Fitts

Sean Fitts has worked in the software industry since 1990. Sean began their career at Sybase as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a networking abstraction layer. Sean then moved to Forte Software as a Member of Development Staff, where they were responsible for the creation and evolution of the application partitioning and runtime management portions of the Forte development environment. In 1999, they joined Sun Microsystems Inc. as a Member of Development Staff. In 2000, they co-founded CrossWeave, where they served as Chief Technology Officer. In 2002, they joined AmberPoint as Chief Architect. In 2010, they were acquired by Oracle, where they were an Architect in the Application Performance Management group. In 2012, they joined Compass Quality Insight Inc. as a Senior Architect. In 2014, they joined You Technology, Inc. as a Principal Architect. Finally, in 2015, they joined Vantiq Software as Chief Architect and HotSchedules, formerly operating as Red Book Connect, as a Cloud Engineer.

Sean Fitts attended Princeton University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Computer Science.
