Esa Mikkonen

Esa Mikkonen has had a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Esa started their career at UPM-Kymmene in 1983 as a Marketing Manager, and remained in this position for a significant period, until 2004. Esa then joined Crown Timber in 2006 as a Regional Director, where they worked until 2008. Following this, they worked at Havesa Timber as a Sales Director from 2008 to 2011. Currently, Esa Mikkonen is the Director at Vapo Timber UK & Ireland, a position they have held since January 2012.

Esa Mikkonen completed an eMBA degree at Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu from 2003 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a BA degree from the University of the Witwatersrand between 1979 and 1982.
