Atle Reinseth

EVP Project Development And SCM at Vår Energi

Atle Reinseth has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Atle is currently the EVP Project Development and SCM at Vår Energi since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Equinor from 2016 to 2022, where they held various VP Project Development positions, including roles in shaping improvements and analysis, improvements and digitalization, and tie-back and brownfield projects.

Before joining Equinor, Atle Reinseth worked at Statoil from 2008 to 2016. Atle'sroles included VP Projects Procurement, Manager project procurement for fast track and subsea projects, Manager Procurement for offshore projects in Stavanger, and Manager Procurement for subsea installation and marine support.

Atle also has experience at StatoilHydro as the category responsible for procurement of mobile drilling rigs from 2006 to 2008.

In addition, Atle Reinseth worked at Acergy from 2003 to 2006, where they held roles as SCM Manager, Project SCM Lead, and Subcontract Administrator.

Prior to that, they worked at Programme for E-commerce in public sector from 1998 to 2003 as a Senior Advisor, responsible for managing the establishment of the Norwegian Public sector electronic marketplace and executing the subcontracting process.

Earlier in their career, Atle Reinseth worked at EDB Gruppen Norge AS as a Procurement and Logistics IM Consultant in 1996, and at Norwegian State Railway (NSB) as a Purchaser from 1993 to 1996.

Atle Reinseth's education history starts in 1988 when they enrolled at BI Norwegian Business School. Atle pursued a Master of Business and Economics degree with a specialization in Procurement and Logistics Management, which they completed in 1992. Following this, in 1992, they attended the University of Oslo (UiO) for one year, taking courses in Political Science as part of a 1-year program. From 1998 to 1999, Atle Reinseth returned to BI Norwegian Business School to pursue a Master of Management Program, focused on Supply Chain Management.
