Audun Våge

Audun Våge has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Audun currently holds the position of VP Compliance at Vår Energi, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they served as Principal Legal Counsel at Vår Energi from December 2019 to November 2022. Before joining Vår Energi, Audun worked at ExxonMobil for 13 years, starting in December 2006. During their time at ExxonMobil, they held the role of Advokat, providing legal advice and support for the company's operations in Norway, including oil and gas activities, refinery operations, oil transportation and distribution, and the sale of oil products. Audun also had responsibilities in areas such as competition law, anti-corruption, trade sanctions, and GDPR. Additionally, Audun provided legal counsel for ExxonMobil's business areas in the Nordic countries and was involved in the operations of lubricant factories in Sweden and Finland. Audun began their legal career as an Advokatfullmektig at Advokatfirmaet Schjødt from February 2003 to November 2006.

From 1996 to 2002, Audun Våge attended the University of Bergen (UiB) where they obtained a degree in Cand. Jur. The field of study for this degree is not specified. In 2000 to 2001, they pursued further education at Université Paris Nanterre, specializing in Folkerett, EU rett, menneskerettigheter (International Law, EU law, Human Rights).
