Jairo Alexander Diaz Lopez

Jairo Alexander Diaz Lopez has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2021, they interned at Equinor as a Summer Intern. Later that year, they also served as the President of SPE Stavanger Student Chapter. In 2022, Jairo worked at Shell as a Digital Technologist, where they played a significant role in the development of various projects using the Power Platform. In the same year, they joined THREE60 ENERGY as a Drilling Engineer. Currently, Jairo is employed at Vår Energi as a Well Integrity Engineer, starting in 2023. Throughout their career, they have also taken on teaching assistant and student mentor roles at Universitetet i Stavanger (UiS).

Jairo Alexander Diaz Lopez completed their Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad de América. Jairo Alexander attended the university from 2014 to 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering with a focus on Well Drilling/Driller at the University of Stavanger from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Jairo also obtained several certifications from edX in various data science subjects between 2019 and 2021.
