Sverker Andersson

Sverker Andersson is currently the Social Manager at Vara kommun. Sverker has held this position since January of 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Regionutvecklare Koncernstab Hälso- och sjukvård for Västra Götalandsregionen from August of 2017 until January of 2022. Andersson began their career as a Sjukgymnast at St. Olavs Hospital, Trondheim University Hospital in January of 1997. Sverker held this position until December of 2002 when they took a position as Sjukgymnast at Habilitering & Hälsa. Sverker worked there until September of 2009 when they became Enhetschef at Lidköpings kommun. Sverker held this position until July of 2017 when they took their current position as Social Manager at Vara kommun.

Sverker Andersson holds a Master's degree in Quality Improvement and Leadership from Hälsohögskolan i Jönköping, and a degree in Physical Therapy from Linköping University.

Sverker Andersson reports to Anna Cederqvist, Municipal Director. They are on a team with André Essebro - Head of Education, Emelia Runeberg - Chancellor, and Jonas Bredenberg - CFO.
