Narendra Joshi

Narendra Joshi has a range of experience in the software engineering field. Narendra is currently working at Vara as a Technical Lead, overseeing the development process. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Vara for three years.

Before joining Vara, Narendra worked at SAP Concur as a Software Design Engineer. Here, they worked on an in-house PubSub platform built with Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Kubernetes. Narendra also played a key role in migrating existing services to Kubernetes.

Earlier in their career, Narendra worked at Helpshift as both a Software Engineer II and Software Engineer I. In these roles, they worked on developing distributed backend services using technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Flink. Narendra made a business-critical application service horizontally scalable using sharding with Kafka partitions and gained valuable experience in designing distributed applications.

Narendra began their career at SAP as an Associate Developer, where they worked on the hybris e-commerce suite and provided enhancements to SAP's Policy Management solution.

Overall, Narendra has a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in developing scalable applications and utilizing various technologies.

Narendra Joshi completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from NIT Hamirpur, from 2011 to 2015. Before that, they attended Bal Bharati Public School in Noida from 2008 to 2010 for their XII CBSE degree and Karl Huber School in Noida from 2005 to 2008 for their X CBSE degree. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in Computer Networks, Machine Learning, and Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 from Coursera, as well as certifications in Circuits and Electronics, Introduction to Functional Programming, and Learning From Data from edX.
