Alberto Maestrini

Alberto Maestrini is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the maritime and telecommunications industries. Currently serving as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at VARD since October 2020, Alberto previously held prominent positions at FINCANTIERI S.p.A. as General Manager and General Manager of the Naval Business Unit from January 2004 to September 2020. Prior to that, Alberto was Chief Executive Officer at Telindus S.p.A. for a year in 2003 and at Marconi PLC from January 2001 to December 2002. Alberto holds a degree from Università degli Studi di Genova, where studies were completed in July 1983.
