Brian Crofts has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Brian started their career at Tektronix, Inc. in 2000 as a Software Engineer. From 2005 to 2012, they worked at Beijer Electronics, Inc. as an Electrical Engineer and later as an Electrical Team Manager. During this time, they were responsible for electronic design, firmware development, and CAD design for schematic capture and PCB layout.
In 2012, Brian joined SanDisk as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Brian designed and tested FPGA-based logic and embedded firmware for power consumption and thermal power dissipation analysis of SSD products. Brian also designed hardware platforms for NAND flash array testing and emulation. Brian's most recent role was at Ripple LLC, where they worked as an R&D Engineer from 2015 to 2022. In this position, they contributed to research and development efforts in the company.

Brian Crofts completed their education at Oregon Health & Science University, where they earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended the University of Utah from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering.
