Nicolas Pratt

Nicolas Pratt is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product design and mechanical systems across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Varex Imaging Corporation since January 2023, Nicolas previously held similar roles at Above.se and Tungsten Collaborative, where responsibilities included leading mechanical design projects and conducting thermal analysis for innovative products. Prior to this, experience as a CFD Specialist at Gradient Wind Engineering Inc. involved performing simulations to evaluate urban wind hazards. Nicolas's early career included contributions as a Mechanical Engineer at Indeo and a Research Associate at Western University, as well as a successful tenure as a National Team Athlete for Rowing Canada Aviron, representing Canada at multiple international competitions. Nicolas holds a Master of Engineering Science degree in Wind Engineering from Western University and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University.
