Spencer Shore has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Spencer started their career at National Instruments as a Mechanical R&D Intern in 2008. Spencer then worked as a Research Assistant at the BYU Applied Biomechanics Engineering Lab from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, they also worked as a Capstone Senior Project member at Cellular Health Innovations.
In 2009, Spencer joined BD as an R&D Engineering Intern before becoming a Research Assistant at Boston University from 2009 to 2011. Spencer then worked as a Design Engineer at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions, contributing to the development of orthopedic implant and instrument products across different sectors from 2011 to 2016.
Spencer's next role was at Nexus Spine, where they served as a Product Development Manager, Sr. Design Engineer, and Production Manager. During their time at Nexus Spine from 2016 to 2018, they were responsible for driving project schedules, coordinating prototype and production orders, maintaining inventory, and overseeing customer service.
Since 2018, Spencer has been working at Varex Imaging Corporation. Spencer started as a Mechanical Engineer III, leading a new product development project for x-ray tubes. Spencer then became the LMB/AEG Team Lead, coordinating the activities of engineers and technicians and mentoring team members. Currently, as the Mechanical Engineer IV, they continue to lead the development of x-ray tube products, optimizing thermal management and designing mechanical assemblies.

Spencer Shore completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University. Spencer attended BYU from 2002 to 2009, completing their undergraduate education there. Following their bachelor's degree, Spencer pursued higher education at Boston University, where they earned their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Spencer attended Boston University from 2009 to 2011.
