Yu Su

Yu Su has over 20 years of work experience in the field of imaging system engineering. From 1998 to 2017, Yu Su worked at Perkinelmer Inc. as a Sr. System Test Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing methodologies for performance testing of a-Si TFT panels and large area CMOS X-ray medical devices. They also maintained and developed device level testing software and data acquisition programs, as well as implemented new test processes.

Since 2017, Yu Su has been working at Varex Imaging Corporation as a Senior Imaging System Engineer. In this position, they work with a team of hardware, software, and system design engineers to develop an automated production test system for large area a-Si flat panel X-ray detectors and CMOS X-ray detectors used in medical clinical and industrial applications. Yu Su is responsible for implementing and maintaining test software to conduct detector and imaging quality analyses, as well as supporting new product introduction design verification and validation activities.

Yu Su has a Master of Science and a Master of Applied Science degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. Prior to that, Yu Su obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Wuhan University.
