Eliza Shea

Eliza Shea is a Senior Associate at Lippes Mathias, where the practice focuses on representing private companies across various stages of growth, along with venture capital firms and strategic investors in debt and equity offerings. This role includes advising business founders on entity choice, capitalization, and incentive compensation; facilitating capital raising and financing transactions; and supporting mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Prior to this, Eliza served as a Venture Partner at Varia Ventures and held positions including Associate Attorney at Varia Ventures and Summer Associate at Lippes Mathias. Eliza earned a Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rochester.
