Christopher Baird

Christopher Baird has extensive experience in the medical physics and healthcare sectors, currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Strategic Management & Product Partnerships at Varian since May 2017. Baird also held several leadership roles at Varian, including Director of Global Partnerships & Alliances and Director of Strategic Partnerships Management. Prior to Varian, Baird was with Landauer Medical Physics from September 2010 to April 2017, where responsibilities included Vice President and General Manager of Therapy and Commissioning and Residency Program Director. Previous experience spans positions such as Senior Vice President of Clinical and Business Development at Global Physics Solutions and President of Arete Medical Physics. Baird began a professional career in medical physics at California Pacific Medical Center and the University of Illinois Hospital, following education with a Master of Science in Medical Physics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from North Central College.
