Karl Bush

Karl Bush is an accomplished professional in the field of medical physics with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as TDIS Technology Innovation Lead and Director of Accelerator R&D at Varian since December 2021, and previously as Clinical Technology Owner, Karl held the position of Director of Oncology Information Systems and Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine from December 2011 to January 2022. Karl also completed a residency at the BC Cancer Agency from June 2010 to December 2011. Educational achievements include a PhD in Medical Physics, obtained from the University of Victoria in 2009, an MSc in Medical Physics from the same institution in 2006, and a BSc in Physics with a Mathematics Minor from the University of Victoria in 2003. Additionally, Karl completed a residency in Medical Physics at the BC Cancer Agency between 2010 and 2012.
