Shirley Gao

Shirley Gao currently serves as Chief of Staff to the Head of Varian and has held multiple strategic roles within Varian Medical Systems since October 2020, contributing to the company's mission of creating a world without cancer. Prior to this, Shirley was the Director of Business Development at Physician 360, focusing on telemedicine services. Experience also includes work as a Farber Fellow at REDF, a Summer Associate at Varian, and a Program Consultant at Partners In Health. Additionally, Shirley served as a Strategy and Operations Consultant at Monitor Deloitte and held the position of Managing Director at Wellbody Alliance in Sierra Leone. Educational qualifications include an MBA and an MPH from Emory University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Princeton University.
