Alina Sitaula

Alina Sitaula has a diverse work experience in the field of genetics and research. Alina is currently working as a Medical/Clinical Genetics Review Manager at Variantyx since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Genetic Counselor at Insight Medical Genetics from October 2021 to May 2022. Alina also has experience as a Cancer Genetic Counselor at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers from December 2020 to October 2021, and at Radiology Imaging Associates / Invision Sally Jobe from July 2019 to December 2020. Alina started their career as a Graduate Student and Genetic Counseling Intern at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities from August 2017 to May 2019. Alina has also worked as a Professional Research Assistant at Barbara Davis Center in 2017 and as a Research Assistant at National Jewish Health from July 2015 to January 2017. Alina's earlier work experience includes being a Student Researcher in the Department of Biology at Southeastern Louisiana University from August 2014 to May 2015, a Math Tutor in the Department of Mathematics from January 2012 to May 2015, and a Membership Desk Attendant at Recreational Sports and Wellness Center from January 2012 to May 2015.

Alina Sitaula completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from Southeastern Louisiana University from 2011 to 2015. Alina later pursued a Master's degree in Genetic Counseling at the University of Minnesota from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alina Sitaula obtained certifications in CPR and AED for the Community and Workplace (G2010)-DC (Blended) from the American Safety and Health Institute in September 2014. Alina also obtained the title of ABGC Diplomate from the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) in September 2019.
