Nate Kirkland

Nate Kirkland has been working as a Clinical Genomic Variant Scientist at Variantyx since June 2021. Prior to that, Nate held various roles at Intermountain Healthcare, including Genetic Counseling Assistant from March 2018 to June 2021, Clinical Research Coordinator from December 2017 to August 2019, Radiology Technician Assistant from August 2016 to December 2017, and Dietary Technician from August 2015 to August 2016.

Nate Kirkland's education history includes multiple degrees and areas of study. Nate began their academic journey in 2013 at Weber State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Education from 2013 to 2017. During the same period, they also obtained a second Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Subsequently, Nate earned an Associate's of Applied Science degree in Chemical Technology/Technician from Weber State University from 2013 to 2017. Moving forward, they enrolled at the University of Utah in 2019 and completed a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling/Counselor in 2021.
