Godfrey Kaswa holds an MBA from Midlands State University and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Chemistry from the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe. Currently serving as a Senior Validation Chemist at Varichem Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) LTD since November 2018, Godfrey is responsible for laboratory administration and financial management, alongside monitoring and evaluation of laboratory processes, systems, and programs. Previously, Godfrey worked as a Quality Control Chemist at the National University of Science and Technology from August 2013 to December 2017, where responsibilities included serving as Class Representative for the Applied Chemistry class. Godfrey also gained practical experience as a Student Intern at ImproChem from June 2015 to August 2016.

Varichem Pharmaceuticals is a wholly Zimbabwean, privately owned company established in 1985. Varichem manufactures and markets a wide range of quality generic pharmaceuticals and related products. Varichem Pharmaceuticals currently exports to Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa and Swaziland.
