Gordon Cox

Gordon Cox is an accomplished theater journalist and creator, currently serving as the creator and writer of Jaques, a bestselling weekly subscription newsletter focused on the global theater industry. With extensive experience as Contributing Theater Editor at Variety since 2005, Gordon has produced a successful podcast and led Broadway coverage for a significant audience. Previous roles include freelance consulting, theater critic for Newsday, and various positions at The New York Times and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Gordon holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Princeton University, earned in 1996.
