Anton Brandl

Anton Brandl is a seasoned machine learning engineer currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Varjo, focusing on 3D reconstruction and machine learning since September 2023. Previously, in roles at Tractable from November 2021 to April 2023, Anton advanced through the ranks from Senior Machine Learning Engineer to Lead ML Engineer and Tech Lead, managing teams and enhancing MLOps infrastructures. At Cape Analytics from April 2017 to November 2021, Anton developed machine learning models utilizing aerial and satellite imagery for predictive analytics and risk estimation. Early career experiences include positions as a Junior Machine Learning Researcher at Klinikum Rechts Der Isar and as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität München. Anton holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich and has gained additional experience as a visiting student at Chalmers University of Technology and Universität Passau.
