Francesco Rubbo

Francesco Rubbo is a skilled machine learning engineer with a strong background in AI and data analysis, currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Altos Labs since September 2024. Previously, Francesco held the position of Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Spring Science, where significant contributions included developing ML tools for cell biology and drug discovery. Francesco's prior experience includes leading research teams at Clarifai, advancing AI capabilities, and deploying models in multiple languages. Additional expertise was gained at Apple, where data pipelines for health features were implemented, and at Stanford University's SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, focused on large-scale data analysis. Francesco holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Master's degree in Physics from Università degli Studi di Torino.
