Mikhail Verkeenko

Mikhail Verkeenko is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Varjo since April 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as a Lead Computer Vision Algorithm Developer at Wayray LLC and as a Senior Software Engineer and Head of sector at the State Research Institute of Aviation Systems (GosNIIAS). Mikhail holds a PhD in computer vision from the State Research Institute of Aviation Systems and a Master's degree in engineering from Moscow Aviation Institute. Their expertise lies in researching and developing computer vision algorithms for AR/VR headsets tracking and virtual prototyping systems.
