Urho Konttori

Urho Konttori is the Founder & Chief Product Officer at Varjo. Urho has over 10 years of experience in the technology industry, having worked as a Forward Program Manager at Microsoft and as a Product Manager in Smart Devices Product Forward Center at Nokia.

Konttori has been responsible for spearheading new technologies and delivering many innovations to Lumia High end phone products. Urho has also worked on flexible OLED based products and on imaging products, such as array camera and dual camera project. Some of their notable projects include Kal Metal Ring, Kal Metal Tube, Luma, 360, and 555.

In addition to their work in the technology industry, Konttori is also an experienced entrepreneur. Urho has co-founded two companies, Qvik (acquired by Nokia in 2008) and Varjo Technologies Oy (2016).

They work with Klaus Melakari - Founder, CTO, Roope Rainisto - Founder, Chief Design Officer, and Markus Heinonen - Sales, Europe. A direct report to Urho Konttori is and Tiina Nieminen - Head of Product Management. Urho Konttori reports to Timo Toikkanen, CEO.
