Micah Ward

Micah Ward is an experienced financial services professional with a strong background in transaction operations and digital payments. Currently serving as the Head of Transaction Operations at Varo Bank since December 2022, Micah previously held the position of Consumer Faster & Digital Payments Leader at Truist from December 2019 to November 2022. Prior experience at BB&T, spanning over a decade, included various roles such as Electronic Money Movement Leader and Mobile Payments Product Manager. Micah began a career in finance as a Field Auditor at Southern States Cooperative and holds a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Flagler College.
