Rick Klop

Rick Klop is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in finance and operations within the energy sector. Currently serving as EVP and Chief Operating Officer for Markets and Commercial at VARO Energy since January 2016, Rick Klop has held multiple leadership roles, including CFO and Country Manager for Benelux & France. Prior experience includes serving as CFO for Argos Group, where responsibilities encompassed strategy and investments, as well as roles in supply and trading management at Argos North Sea Group. Additional positions include Trading Manager and Controller & Risk Manager at Frisol B.V., and Financial Analyst at Petroplus International N.V. Rick Klop holds an executive master’s degree in financial management and a master's degree in business administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
